No attempt has been made to place themin sequence of operation, the operation being described witheach picture. There are many and varied appliances which have beendevised by engineers for convenient handling of small parts bywomen workers. Close views of some of these are shown. While the photographs may be beneficial to manufacturersof munitions, inasmuch as they show novel and ingeniousmethods of tooling and general production, the main object ofthis publication is to emphasize the possibility of the Dilutionof Labour, and hence this feature is kept constantly in view.
