Description
Deutsch: Die Papiergroßhandlung der Firma Wwe. [Witwe] Garve & Sohn bezeichnete sich als "Erste und größte Spezialfabrik für Zeichenblöcke und "Lehrmittelanstalt für modernen Zeichenunterricht". Das Unternehmen mit Produktionsstandort in der Kirchwender Straße in Hannover und Lehrmittel-Dauerausstellung war zugleich Verlag der A. Baumgart'schen Zeichenutensilien (Fabriknummer V. B. Z.) und war um 1900 mit seinem U-förmigen Gebäudekomplex in Richtung der Eisenbahnlinie ausgerichtet. Der Stich einer Vogelschau-Ansicht über die Firma zeigt eine Brücke der Bahnlinie, die heute im Verlauf der Berliner Allee in Hannover liegt.
