| Description |
English: Wish I'd brought my sticky boots Having paddled the River Eden from Lazonby, we are within a couple of hundred metres of the take-out at Armathwaite weir. Here on the right bank, we found a small outcrop covered in climbers' chalk above a beach offering a nice landing for bouldering (although a stagger backwards from an imperfect landing would involve a ducking). Sarah is now wishing we had brought sticky boots and chalk bags, as this would be good place to spend a pleasant half hour pumping out those arm muscles that have not really been taxed by the river trip. |
