Deutsch: Altarbild in der Filialkirche Winzendorf in Winzendorf in der Gemeinde Winzendorf-Muthmannsdorf im Bezirk Wiener Neustadt-Land in Niederösterreich / Österreich / Europäische Union. Kopie (1989) des akademischen Malers Sepp Buchner aus Pitten bzw. der Wiener Josefstadt. Das Original (Holztafelbild) entstand um 1470 bis 1500. Das Bild war ursprünglich das Altarbild der Kapelle der Burg Emmerberg und wurde wegen des Verfalls der Burg in die Kirche von Winzendorf verbracht.[1] Größe der Gemäldekopie: 144 x 170 cm (inkl. Rahmen 65 mm). Aufbewahrungsort des Originals ist die Gemäldegalerie des Kunsthistorischen Museums Wien. Von 1987 bis 2012 war diese Abbildung des Tod Mariäs aus dem 15. Jahrhundert im Dom Museum Wien. Eine Besonderheit des Bildes ist die abgebildete Katze unter dem Bett, die bei einer früheren Restaurierung einige Jahre übermalt gewesen war. Copy from 1989 by the academic painter Sepp Buchner, who lived in Pitten and Josefstadt, Vienna, respectively. The original (wooden panel painting) was created around 1470 to 1500. The painting was originally the altarpiece of the chapel of Emmerberg Castle and was moved to the church of Winzendorf because of the castle's decay.[2] Size of the painting copy: 144 x 170 cm (incl. frame 65 mm). The original is kept in the Picture Gallery of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna. From 1987 to 2012 this 15th-century painting of Dormition of Virgin Mary was in the Dom Museum Vienna. A special feature of the painting is the cat depicted under the bed, which had been painted over for several years during an earlier restoration.
