Winkelcentrum Babylon gezien vanaf het midden van het Prins Bernhard viaduct. Tussen het station Den Haag Centraal en het winkelcentrum Babylon (1973) is hotel Sofitel zichtbaar.

De bouw van Babylon is bezongen in 'Oh Oh Den Haag' van Harry Jekkers:

Ik zou best nog wel een keertje Ach wat leg ik toch te dromen Want Den Haag is door de jaren zo veranderd Voor mij toch veel te vlug joh Dat nieuw Babylon Moet dat er trouwens eigenlijk wel zo nodig komen Zo komt de ooievaar op de Vijverberg
