Description

This formation, at Valley of Fire State Park, NV, was first brought to public attention by photographer David Muench, who put it on the cover of his book "Windstone".

The formation sits in a small alcove, about two feet high and deep by eight feet long, in a rock among a field of similar rocks. It is not easy to find, even with instructions and GPS coordinates.
