London: George Routledge and Sons, The Broadway, Ludgate |date = 1870 iv,104p. With twenty seven pages of publisher's titles bound at the end. Book Size 110x168x12mm. Yellow paper over boards. The lower cover has an advertisement for (a garden centre) E. G. Henderson & Son. Publisher's ttles are printed on the uper and lower endpapers and pastedowns. The upper cover features a young lady at an open window, watering (tulip-like) plants on the windowsill, with a small watering can. In the window panes on the upper half of the cover, the words: "Window Gardening" are printed. Below the window, a repeating pattern of stylised honeysuckle plants is printed. At the tail of the cover the imprint: "George Routledge & Co." is printed in black. On the spine, the title words: "Window Gardening" are printed along its length.
