Summary
[edit]DescriptionWindham Bank one dollar banknote.jpg |
English: This $1.00 (one dollar) banknote was produced by Windham Bank in Windham, Connecticut. The vignette of a dead frog with another frog sitting on top of it is a reference to the 1754 Battle of the Frogs. The bank was chartered in 1832 and included the frog vignette on its banknotes through the 1870s. |
