Wind from aircraft drift angles in two headings

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A graphical method to derive a wind vector from aircraft drift angles in two different headings. Steps:

1. Draw two vectors that represent two headings and their respective airspeeds (blue). 2. Draw two lines starting from the tips of the heading vector, each at an angle equal to the respective drift (red).

3. Draw a vector from the intersection of the drift lines to the center of the diagram, which is equal to the wind vector (green).
