TITLE Winchester Street Bridge, Keene NH CREATOR SUBJECT Bridges - NH - Keene Rivers - NH - Keene Covered bridges - NH - Keene DESCRIPTION Postcard of the Winchester Street Bridge in Keene New Hampshire, built in 1851 and removed in 1910. "It was built in 1851 by Moses Howard, father of the late O.J. Howard, and was removed July 12, 1910, but owing to delay experienced in receiving the new bridge it was out for something like five months. People on foot crossed the river on a narrow span thrown across a little to the south. One of its truss pins in preserved in the collections of the Historical Society of Cheshire County.
