| Description |
English: Winchcombe Station, G&WR. View NW, towards Toddington, Honeybourne, Stratford-on-Avon and Birmingham: ex-GWR Birmingham - Stratford - Cheltenham main line of 1908. The original station was closed 7/3/60 after the line had been demoted as a main line but lingered on for goods until 3/1/77. The Gloucestershire & Warwickshire (heritage) Railway took over, operating southward from Toddington from 1984 and reopened the station at Winchcombe in 1999 prior to extending to Cheltenham (Racecourse) in April 2003. |
