Description
Polski: Na zdjęciu widoczny Wincenty Litwinowicz - chorąży z 3 kompanii, 3 pułku piechoty Legionów Polskich.

Wincenty Litwinowicz (ur. 1893, zm. 1925) przed I wś działał w Związku Strzeleckim (dosłużył się sekcyjnego). Po wybuchu wojny wstąpił do Legionów Polskich, gdzie został przydzielony do 3 pułku piechoty. 1 IV 1916 roku otrzymał awans na chorążego, zaś 1 IV 1917 roku na podporucznika piechoty. Po kryzysie przysięgowym służył w PSZ. Po 1918 wstąpił do Wojska Polskiego, gdzie dosłużył się stopnia majora piechoty (awans 15 VIII 1924). Zmarł w roku 1925 w Warszawie. Odznaczony VM 5.klasy, KN, KW.

Zdjęcie wykonano na froncie na Wołyniu. Zdjęcie powstało najprawdopodobniej po pierwszej bitwie pod Kostiuchnówką (4-5 listopada 1915), w której brał udział 3 pułk piechoty, ponosząc ciężkie straty. Na zdjęciu widoczny jest przypięty do munduru Litwinowicza medal za odwagę, który został mu najwidoczniej przyznany za udział w natarciu na Polską Górę pod Kostiuchnówką.
