English: In 1928, Wilma Carr worked at the Owl Beauty Shop at Third Avenue and Pike Street in downtown Seattle. Her sister, Maxine, was a stenographer. Between 1931 and 1935, Wilma ran the beauty shop. In this photo portrait of the Carr sisters, Maxine (left) and Wilma Carr (right) are wearing the latest fashion in hairstyles. It was probably taken in the late 1920s, before Maxine's marriage.
