Description
English:

In 1908, John North Willys purchased the Overland Automotive Division of the Standard Wheel Company, located in Terre Haute, Indiana. By 1912, the company had established a main plant in Toledo, Ohio and had become the nation's second largest producer of cars (behind Ford). The Willys-Overland Company obtained a license to build cars with Knight engines in 1913.
