Sidney Brown 8 [?] North 4th Street St Louis, Mi Nov 1861 of Wm Bull [William Jeffry Bull written to the right] in "Camp Jackson" uniform of the Engineer Corps, Missouri State Guard one month before going south with the "Camp Jackson" prisoners who were exchanged for Genl Mullinkens command captured by Genl Price at Lexington, Mo, in Sep 1861." Sgt. William Bull was a member of the engineer corps that was taken prisoner during the Camp Jackson affair but was later exchanged.
