Description
English: Tomb slab with inlaid brass for William Dale (d.1536) and his wife Elizabeth Dale (d. 21 October 1533), at the east end of the nave of St Laurence's Church, Tidmarsh, Berkshire. The brass of a man and wife above the inscriptions, and a brass of their children below the inscription, are now missing, and only the inscription remains. The "Will of William Dale, Gentleman of Tidmarsh, Berkshire" dated 20 November 1536 is in the National Archives at Kew.
