| Description |
English: Willes Meadow reservoir with sailing boats. Severn Trent Water impounds water here and pumps it up to a treatment works on the Campion Hills 159652 1560367. For many years the water was impounded directly from the River Leam but now the water comes, wholly or partly, by gravity-fed pipeline from Draycote Water reservoir SP4569 and adjoining squares. Also in the picture: boats from Royal Leamington Spa Sailing Club; Campion HIlls TV mast 110182; and the green-painted roofs of Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre 33861 |
