Description
English: Willard Straight Hall was the first "student union building" constructed on the campus. The building was named in honor of Willard Dickerman Straight, class of 1901, who had died in 1918. His widow, Dorothy Whitney Straight, provided significant funding for the building. The cornerstone was laid on June 15, 1924 and the dedication ceremony was held on November 25, 1925.
