Summary
[edit]DescriptionWillamette River at Portland, Oregon, 1908.jpg |
English: Willamette River panorama looking west at Portland, Oregon 1908. At least three sternwheelers can be seen, one the foreground is Hustler. The only sidewheeler in the image is the T.J. Potter, on the right against the pier on the far side of the river. In the left distance the masts of a number of ocean-going ships can be seen. The bridge is the second Morrison Bridge, a swing bridge built in 1905, which was replaced in 1958. |
