Deutsch: Illustration zu Wilhelm Gumppenberg S.J.: Atlas Marianus Sive De Imaginibus Deiparae Per Orbem Christianum Miraculosis ("Marianischer Atlas, oder: Über die wundertätigen Marienbilder auf dem ganzen christlichen Erdkreis")
Die Illustration bietet eine eigentümliche Bildtheologie, die das Verhältnis zwischen der wahren (himmlischen) Maria und ihren wundertätigen Gnadenbildern auf der Erde veranschaulichen soll. Am Himmelsglobus oben sind Sonne und Mond und statt der Tierkreiszeichen sechs Marienbilder zu sehen. Zwischen Himmel- und Erdenglobus thront Maria mit dem Kind auf einem Haus, sicher der Kirche, dessen Dach auf der sichtbaren Hälfte ebenfalls mit sechs Marienbildern gedeckt ist; dieselben erscheinen noch einmal am Boden des Hauses. Von dort gehen sechs Licht-(Gnaden-)ströme nieder auf die Länder der Erde (mit Italien als Mitte). Am Himmel steht Ne feriar ("Damit ich nicht ruhe"), am Erdenrund Ne pereat ("Damit sie nicht untergeht").
