To succeed in unitingthe various qualities required in an animal of this value,great judgment in breeding and a considerable outlay arenecessary. TAUROMACHIA, THE FIGHTING BULL OF SPAIN. 61 moment the fighting bulls are selected, they are treatedwith the utmost care, and for two years more roam at libertyover the richest pasturage of the %Yide unfrequented prairies.At four years old they are moved into the ccirados, orenclosures—fields of great extent, surrounded by a woodenstockade and double ditch.
