English: Wild dogs attacking fawn of Sambar deer.

Wild dogs are pack hunters. This pack of wild dogs cornered a fawn of sambar deeer nearby a water-body. As deer seek refuge in the water. Wild dogs kept diving and attacking the deer so that to force a deer to come out of the water. Finally this technique of the pack worked and eventually deer came out of the pond and fell prey to the hungry pack. This dramatic incident was captured in Mudumalai tiger reserve
