Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A construction worker walks alongside the aging Wil-Cox Bridge, known for its unique arched architecture. The black tarps were installed along the banks of the Yadkin River to control erosion and prevent repair work currently under way from impacting the surrounding environment. Phase one of the I-85 Corridor Improvement Project will enable this bridge, built in 1922, to once again carry traffic on U.S. 29/70 between Davidson and Rowan counties. It is currently closed due to safety concerns.
