Description
English: This photo, taken from the bridge currently carrying northbound and southbound traffic on U.S. 29/70, shows the deteriorating condition of the 89-year-old Wil-Cox Bridge, including cracked concrete and exposed rebar. As part of phase one of the I-85 Corridor Improvement Project, crews are repairing the damaged concrete and making structural improvements to allow the aging bridge to once again carry traffic over the Yadkin River. It is currently closed.
