Description Wightbus 5879 (KE04 EAC), a Mercedes-Benz minibus in Town Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight on a dial-a-bus service. The dial-a-bus services are specifically designed for people with mobility problems, and drop passengers off at the doorstep. This is why the driver can be seen assisting passengers onto the bus. However, from 2 September 2011, the Isle of Wight Council have axed all dial-a-bus services, along with all other Wightbus services to save money following reductions in local government funding by central government.
