Description
Deutsch: Gehirne hunderter am Spiegelgrund ermordeter Kindern wurden in solchen Gläsern für die wissenschaftliche Forschung konserviert und auch nach 1945 noch bis in die Achtzigerjahre für neuropathologische Forschungen verwendet - zunächst vom "Neurohistologischen Laboratorium", danach im "Ludwig Boltzmann Institut zur Erforschung von Missbildungen des Zentralnervensystems". Die Kindergehirne wurden bis April 2002 im Keller der Prosektur aufbewahrt und erst danach in einem Ehrengrab am Zentralfriedhof bestattet. Später gefundene Spiegelgrund-Präparate und Überreste von Opfern wurden im Mai 2012 bestattet. Teil der Ausstellung "Der Krieg gegen die Minderwertigen" des Österreichischen Dokumentationsarchivs im V-Gebäude. Gedenkstätte Steinhof
