Deutsch: Das „Haus der Europäischen Union“ an der Adresse Wipplingerstraße 35 im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Innere Stadt.
Das Bürogebäude mit einer Bruttogeschossfläche von 11.400 m² wurde ursprünglich als ÖGB-Zentrale (feierlicher Spatenstich am 7. September 2005: [1]) nach Plänen der Architektenbüros Tillner & Willinger und Architekt ZT GmbH errichtet: [2]. Im Zuge der Bawag-Krise musste der ÖGB es verkaufen und die Europäische Union erwarb das Gebäude um 23 Millionen: [3]. Als „Haus der Europäischen Union“ wurde es dann am 16. Oktober 2009 feierlich eröffnet, in dem unter anderem die Österreich-Vertretung der EU-Kommission und das Informationsbüro des Europäischen Parlaments untergebracht ist: [4].
