Description
Deutsch: Westansicht der ehemaligen Zentrale des Österreichischen Verkehrsbüros an der Adresse Friedrichstraße 7 im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Innere Stadt.
Das Gebäude im Stil des Art Déco und Jugendstils wurde von 1922 bis 1923 nach Plänen der Architekten Hermann Aichinger und Heinrich Schmid errichtet. Im Jahr 2007 wurde es von Novomatic gekauft und von 2008 bis 2009 von dem Architekten Adolf Straitz renoviert und von einem Bürohaus in ein Kulturhaus (Novomatic Forum) umgebaut. Anfang 2021 verkaufte Novomatic die Immobilie um rd. 23 Millionen Euro (Nettokaufpreis) an den Immobilienentwickler Lukas Neugebauer (LNR Projekt FS7 Immobilien GmbH).
