Description
Deutsch: Wien WVB SL 71 (C1 110) Schwarzenbergplatz im Juli 1975. - Der Platz hat seinen Namen nach dem Sieger über Napoleon in der Völkerschlacht von Leipzig 1813, Karl Philipp Schwarzenberg, dessen Standbild rechts auf dem Foto zu sehen ist. Im Hintergrund ahnt man den Hochstrahlbrunnen, ein Monument für die fertigstellung der Ersten Wiener Hochwasserleitung im Jahre 1873, und das Befreiungsdenkmal mit dem unbekannten russischen Soldaten. Darüber hinaus gibt es einige Stadtpalais (Architekten Heinrich Ferstel, Johann Romano und August Schwendenwein) aus dem 18. Jh auf diesem Platz.
