Description
Polski: "W tym miejscu w latach 1939-1944 przy ulicy Wiejskiej działało Gimnazjum Żeńskie Jadwigi Kowalczykówny i Jadwigi Jawurkówny. Wpajało zasady moralne, uczyło obywatelskich cnót, słynęło z walorów systemu nauczania w czasach zaborów i II wojny światowej. Walczyło o polskość oświaty, w obronie ojczyzny i godność człowieka w latach 1939-1945 zginęły obie przełozone, czworo nauczycieli i 65 wychowanek" - kamień pamiątkowy z takim napisem znajduje się na ulicy Wielskiej nieopodal skrzyżowania z ul Jana Matejki, na wprost gmachu Sejmu RP, tuż obok Pomnika Armii Krajowej.
