| Description |
Deutsch: Wiegenwald, Nationalpark Hohe Tauern, hinteres Stubachtal, Uttendorf, Land Salzburg, Österreich. Der Baumbestand auf der eiszeitlichen Moräne setzt sich hauptsächlich aus Fichten, Lärchen und Zirben zusammen. Auf der Hochfläche überwiegen jedoch die Zirben. Vereinzelt stehen hier auch Birken und Ebereschen. Bemerkenswert sind die ringförmigen Hochmoorkomplexe. Der Wiegenwald ist durch einen Wanderweg, der am Enzingerboden (1 483 m) beginnt und nach Überwindung von ca. 400 Höhenmetern am Grünsee endet, erschlossen. Das erste Drittel des Weges ist sehr steil. Wegen der hochsensiblen Landschaft ist die Begehung des Gebietes im Rahmen einer Führung durch einen Nationalparkranger am sinnvollsten. Jede Abweichung vom vorgegebenen Weg ist zu vermeiden.
