English: Wickham Market railway station, Suffolk Opened in 1859 by the East Suffolk Railway, later part of the Great Eastern Railway, on the line from Ipswich to Lowestoft. View south west towards Melton (Suffolk) and Ipswich. Previously there had been a second line to the left with its own platform, and the remains of this are in the undergrowth in the distance. The building was renovated and canopy (re-)erected in 2017 - an improvement on what was here before TM3255 : Wickham Market railway station, Suffolk, 2014. |
