per doz.
Dracaena Terminalis.
Very ornamental foliage, bronzy
green marked red and pink. 4-inch

Seaforthia Elegans.
Invaluable on account of its rapid
growth and gracefully arched foliage.
Price, plants from 5-inch pots, 20 to 24
inches high, $6.00 per doz ; plants
from 4-inch pots, $3.00 per doz.
KANDANl'S UT1L1S.
PANDANUS UTILIS.
For majesty of form and gracefully arranged
foliage this is without a peer. As an ornament
for the window its glossy dark green serrated
foliage renders it unusually attractive, while as
a vase plant or single specimen in greenhouse
or conservatory it cannot be surpassed. Price,
fine plants, from 7-inch pots, $1200 per doz.;
6-inch pots, $9.00 per doz. ; 2 inch pots, $i go
per 100, $35.00 per 1000.
PANDANl'S VEITCHII.
This is a grand decorative plant. Vivid
green with creamy white variegation. Price,
plants from 6-inch pots, $1 50 each.
DKAlMvNA FRAGRANS.
One of the finest of our ornamental-leaved
plants; deep green, broad, gracefully drooping
leaves. Our stock of this is fine and the price
is low. Price, plants from 5-inch pots. 84.50
per doz., $35.00 per 100; from 4-mch pots, $3.00
per doz., $20.00 per 100.
KKNTIA ISEI.MuP.EANA.
LATANIA BOHBOKICA.
I.ATAMA BORBONICA.
This is the typical Palm, and is more largely
used than any other. Its strong, healthy habit
commends it to all, and gives it a fitness for
window and room culture not possessed in the
same degree perhaps by any other. (See cut.)
Price, plants from 8-inch pots. $2.00 each ; 6-
inch pots, $9.00 per do/..; 5-inch pots, $5.00 per
doz. : 3-inch pots, $8 1 o per 100 ; 2-inch pots,
$4 00 per 100.
ARA17CARIA EXCELSA.
(NORFOLK ISLAND PINE.)
Various names have been suggested for this
grand plant to properly convey to the mind the
appearance of it. Some have called it the
"Christmas Tree Palm" from its resemblance
to a Christmas tree ; others have called it the
"Star Palm." because the leaves are arranged
to form a perfect star, but no descriptive name
can give any adequate idea of its beauty. For
symmetry of form, grace and beauty of foliage,
it is unequaled in the vegetable kingdom.
(See cut.) Extra fine plants from cuttings, 24
to 30 inches high, $3.00 each; 12 to 15 inches
high, $1.00 each, $10.00 per doz.
k' KNTIA KOIISTKK1 ANA.
KENTIA BELMOREANA.
This is sometimes called the "Curly Palm "
and is recognized as among the best for all
purposes, being capable of standing more ill-
usage perhaps than any other. The leaves
have a tendency to curl as the plants grow
older, hence its popular title of '"Curly
Palm." Our plants are of stout, stocky
growth, and are sure to give satisfaction.
Prices, plants from 7 inch pots, bushy, 3
plants in a pot, 18 to 20 inches high, $2.50
each ; same from 6-inch pots, lighter, $2.00
each ; from 5-inch pots, 20 to 24 inches high,
single stems, $1.00 each, $10.00 per doz.;
smaller grade, 15 to 18 inches high, 75c
each, $7 50 per doz.; from 4-inch pots, 12 to
15 inches, $6.00 per doz.
KENTIA FORSTERIANA.
A taller growing variety than the above,
with broader leaves, longer stems, and more
sweep to the foliage. It makes a large plant
in a shorter period and on that account as
also for its truly majestic appearance it is
greatly in demand. Price, plants from 7-inch
pots, 3 plants in a pot, bushy specimens, 24
to 30 inches high, $2.50 each ; same from 6-
ineh pots, lighter, $2 00 each; from 5 inch
pots, single stems, 20 to 24 inches high, 75c.
each $7.50 per do/..; from 4-inch pots, 15 to
1 3 inches high. $5.00 per doz.

Public domain

This work is in the public domain in its country of origin and other countries and areas where the copyright term is the author's life plus 70 years or fewer.

This tag is designed for use where there may be a need to assert that any enhancements (eg brightness, contrast, colour-matching, sharpening) are in themselves insufficiently creative to generate a new copyright. It can be used where it is unknown whether any enhancements have been made, as well as when the enhancements are clear but insufficient. For known raw unenhanced scans you can use an appropriate {{PD-old}} tag instead. For usage, see Commons:When to use the PD-scan tag.

Note: This tag applies to scans and photocopies only. For photographs of public domain originals taken from afar, {{PD-Art}} may be applicable. See Commons:When to use the PD-Art tag.
