Japanese incurved, with strong, heavy stems, 4 feet long, stiff neck. YTery broad petals, and flowers from midseason until late. Price, 2V2 inch pots, 35c. each; $3.50 per doz.; $25.00 per 100. Rooted Cutting* and Clumps of ;>o;>ular and latest introduced varieties of merit. Colonel Appleton. A fine yellow Japanese incurved Chry- ^ santhemum. It is one of the largest-sized flowers of its type, ™*of clear yellow color, very full, not showing any center, and carries fine foliage well up under the blooms. One of the most distinct of all the dark col- ored kinds; brilliant crimson, shaded scarlet, with flowers of a rich velvety texture. The flowers are very large, and run uni- formly, measuring about 7 to,8 inches across; the foliage is fine ; the stem stout.
