Description
English: Garelet Hill Whitehope Knowe (according to geocoords). Looking down a sheepwalk towards the rather worrying sight of a wind survey mast for the proposed Earlshaugh windfarm. The Hart Fell area is one of the few large areas of high ground in Southern Scotland without roads and trees, it is completely unacceptable to consider developing this site when there are many square kilometres of land nearby which already have roads, motorways, powercables etc. If this hill was 40km further south there would be no question of building a road up here. This would be a national park.
