Italiano: Tre alpinisti si avvicinano alla vetta della Tour Ronde, cima alta 3.792 metri sul Massiccio del Monte Bianco, sfuggendo alle nuvole che di lì a poco li raggiungeranno. In pochi minuti questo ambiente può trasformarsi da paradiso a trappola, annullando la visibilità degli alpinisti a causa delle nuvole basse e della neve, che creano l'effetto "pallina da ping-pong", o "withe-out" in inglese. La luce solare viene riflessa sulla neve e fatta rimbalzare sulle nuvole, così basse che impediscono una visibilità sufficiente ad orientarsi in un ambiente alpino così selvaggio. |
