Summary

[edit]
Description
English: White House Farm, Almholme, near Doncaster South Yorkshire Once a small hamlet in a dead-end road leading out of Arksey and on the edge of Thorpe Marsh, Almholme found itself with a large volume of passing traffic when the road was extended in the 1960s, fortunately by-passing the hamlet itself, to service the now closed Thorpe Marsh Power Station. White House Farm was as far as the original road used to go.
