Description
English: Chum chum is a traditional Bengali sweet popular throught the indian Subcontinent. It made of chhana and sugar. 200 years back, Chum chum was made in Porabari of Tangaile. After that it became popular and spread out through the Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. The sweet comes in a variety of colours, mainly light pink, light yellow and white. Kamolavog is launched first in Madarihat of West Bengal. Duars, Tarai in North-Bengal is the pathfinder in this sweet. Nani Pal was the pioneer of this sweet. Chhana, juice of orange or piller and sugar are main ingredience of Kamolavog.
