Description
English: This is a track from a male white-tail deer witnessed in February 2021. The picture of the track was taken in the piedmont region of North Carolina between the hours of two and three in the afternoon. This photograph was taken near Falls Lake State Recreation Area and shows that manmade bodies of water can support stable ecosystems. This track also shows the red clay and sandy soils of the piedmont region’s temperate forests.
