English: Whitby Station The North Yorkshire Moors Railway now runs regular timetabled steam trains into Whitby over Network Rail track from Grosmont. Judging by this bank holiday crowd, alighting from an arrival from Pickering, the service is extremely popular. Passengers are required to alight, even if they are returning on the same train, because the train has to set back out of the station for the engine to run round. |
