English: Whit Friday Brass Band Contest Delph. This is the competition ring very late in the evening in the centre of Delph where Tartan Brass are seen playing during the annual Whit Friday Brass Band Contest.

This year well over a hundred brass bands participated in some twenty different contests at venues scattered around the moorland villages and towns on the western edge of the Pennines.
