Description

The tallest wind turbine in the UK at Ness Point, Lowestoft, 262 feet from ground to the axis of revolution, 413 feet to the tip of the rotor at 12 o'clock.

More details here about Gulliver. Commenced operation Jan 2005. Generates upto 2.75MW, capable of providing electricity for 1500 homes, which is only a small fraction of the colossal sprawl over the area between and including Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth, showing how unsustainable our energy use is.
