Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Where has all the water gone? Here in upper Glen Beich most burns have a small dam, as is also the case in upper Glen Tarken. The burn water disappears through a grille and an empty watercourse continues downhill. The ultimate destination of the abstracted water is almost certainly the St Fillans power station, so some purpose is served. And the overall supply of water is regularly topped up from above.
