FOR THE DOCTOR causing all varieties of ugly jaws.These cause almost unbelievable mis-chief through the nervous irritationarising from the pressure produced bysuch wedged-in or impacted teeth.We have known boys who, because ofthis nervousness from impacted teeth,came to be problems at home andnuisances in school,—to have developedlying and stealing, ultimately reachingthe juvenile court and the house of de-tention. It has needed only the re-moval of such teeth to work entire andlasting reformation in such boys. Neglect of Tooth Brush. The neglect of the toothbrush isanother reason for poor teeth. Among2677 mouths examined in the publicschools of one city, there were found15,061 dental cavities. In 1477 of thesemouths a toothbrush had never beenused.
