English: Wheelpit at Esgair Fraith mine. The wheelpit at Esgair Fraith lead and copper mine 1132999 once housed a water wheel, which was used to drive machinery. This may have included rock crushers, used to separate mineral ore from quartz 1129373 and spoil. See 1132973 for a peek into the pit, and 1132990 for a view sideways. |
