Summary

[edit]
Description I thought it would be neat to ride the Whatcom Creek Trail to see the raging creek, but soon found myself in the creek. Sign said "water over trail," but I proceeded. Soon, tho, water was raging up towards my knees. I turned back. Then I went home to get my camera and approach the water again from both sides of the flooded area using Fraser Street, rather than the trail, to get through. I think the floodplain greenbelt is working as planned. Trail should be okay when water recedes. That's what a floodplain is for.
