Summary

[edit]
Description
English: What's left of the Rhiwaedog-uwch-afon forest fire watch tower This watch-tower was used at a time when the trees in the forest was in the nursery stage. The remains of an old aerial tower lies besides it. Rhiwaedog-uwch-afon means 'bloodyhill-above-river' - Rhiwaedog being the townland divided into two parts - above and below by Afon Hirnant. The old tower base provided a handy place for lunch.
