Summary
[edit]DescriptionWeymouth railway station - geograph.org.uk - 945310.jpg |
English: Weymouth railway station Class 150 diesel unit No.150219 at Platform 3, having arrived from and waiting to return to Bristol. The two-coach unit is painted in a special livery promoting various tourist locations in the West of England. Not to be outdone, the station is also advertising itself as for the Jurassic Coast, a geological World Heritage Site famous for its fossils, stretching westwards across Dorset to Lyme Regis and on into Devon. To the left in Ranelagh Road are some of Weymouth's smaller guest houses, "convenient for the station". |
