Description
English: This is a closer view of flower heads from the adjacent image of a herbarium scan of the Lord Howe Island endemic shrub Westringia viminalis (Lamiaceae). Collection info is as follows: "Game 69/252. Straggling shrub with white flowers. On a cliff face on the east side of Mount Lidgbird, very near Goathouse Cave. Elevation about 1,500 feet". The Lord Howe plant was formerly referred to as W. rosmariniformis. It is locally common on rocky paces and cliffs in the southern mountains with occasional occurrences in the northern hills.
