English: Westminster Road, Ellesmere Park Rutland Road crosses Westminster Road in Ellesmere Park, Eccles. Ellesmere Park was developed in the 1870s for the Victorian middle class of this area to the west of Manchester. Many of the large houses have been converted into flats since the 1960s as the cost of maintaining them as family houses has increased. |
